Posted: 03/31/06 - 13:40 Post subject: Monthly Mileage Memo: March 2006
I'm surprised no one has started this thread yet...
~223 miles for me this month,
Strength training-5 hrs 40 mins total
A decent month, though not overly fantastic...The most important thing was that I was consistent throughout, getting in most of my key workouts and staying healthy, after coming back from an injury-ridden February.
Doing a few races next month (5k and 10k)...I won't be where I want to be in terms of goals set in January (I've adjusted them since my injury), but I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do on the day of my 10k, if things go well for the next 3 weeks or so...

Cycling - 56.59 miles.
Running - 161.88 miles (9:11 pace).
The pace is slower than the prior month due to several long runs, and the one bad one where I had the leg get hurt (the subsequently recovery runs were slow also). OTOH, that's still under the training pace for the thon in May.
