Cycling: 43.87 miles
Highest running total so far. Been really focusing on building aerobic/endurance base before going into race-specific training.

Overall distance was a disappointment but I missed a week with the flu. Shooting for over 90miles in February.

This is a disappointing total, but I'm not letting it get to me. I started off the year recovering from being sick, so the first few days were very low mileage. I was in New York for 5 days, and I didn't run at all for those days. School started on the 18th, so it's been hard getting back into routine. I needed to replace my shoes but couldn't afford any until scholarship money came in, so I skipped a few days because of that also. I'm trying to get back to waking up early, as that will be the most opportune time for me this semester (so far no luck). But overall I've got to say it's been a positive month, at least ending that way. I'm on a fresh pair of shoes, and I've gone through 3 great runs, including two 7-milers (well almost... stupid indoor track) in the last 3 days. I was a little burnt out on running for much of the month, but I feel much more into it now and can't wait for a great month in February. 85 miles isn't much, but it's 85 miles more than I had in January of last year.

56.7 miles of running. Should be much, much higher. Darn foot injury, work, and getting sick.

66.5 miles, 10 strength training sessions.
Not as craptacular as I feared, but February should be better (assuming the monsoons are no longer with us).
