My friend got married last night - on a Monday night - and it was gorgeous! They had their wedding at this nice garden and it was so relaxing and mellow there. The wedding party was pretty small (2 bridesmaids, 2 groomsmen) and the wedding was over pretty quickly.

We arrived at 5:35 p.m. (wedding started at 6 p.m.) and my husband forgot he was supposed to help with some video taping. So, we went home real quick to get the video tape. We arrived 8 minutes late (figures!) and the pastor was just pronouncing them man and wife! I couldn't believe how fast the ceremony part was (my wedding was an hour long so I was kinda shocked!).

Anyway, I wanted to share this cute picture of my little man (and me) with you guys. He is always acting like a goofball but he was pretty well behaved last night. He even got himself dressed and brushed his hair and teeth without me even having to beg him (wearing anything but jeans and a t-shirt is usually a big hassle)! Very Happy

Nice picture. Truly.

But - "acting like a goofball" - can't imagine where he'd get that from. Mr. Green

Also, when I saw the thread title, why was I picturing Hank Williams, Jr., singing, "Are you ready for some marriage?"

VERY nice pic, Dives!!! You're lookin' stying, as usual, and the lil man is a real cutie.

I know you probably posted an update, but I missed it....what's up with your knee?

Nice try, Dives. Let's just say the photo proves the adage that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Razz

I was doing my ultra-conservative stylin' last night. I NEVER (hardly ever) wear pearls like last night. Which begs the question...why did my husband buy me pearls for Christmas AND my birthday last year!!!??? But, that is another story all together. Very Happy

Knee...whotheheckknows!!! I ran 17 miles at the beach w/no problem!

You and the Little man look great.

As an aside: I noticed the wedding was planned on a date when it did not interfere with Monday Night Football.

Yeah, I must say that if that would have been the case then my family wouldn't have "unfortunately" been able to attend. However, I don't think it would have mattered one bit to the bride & groom. They aren't really the football watching type.

GO PACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Gotta get that one in early before the season starts! Wink )
