My left shin cramped in the first mile and wouldn't go away so I stopped at the 2 mile to stretch it out and walk a little bit. Picked it back up after about 2 minutes but it was cramping again later on. I'll most likely run more this afternoon/evening.

The morning run was pretty poor but I had a solid 6 miles this evening. Gorgeous sunset on the lakes, I would have loved to get some pictures. Had to take a short break to water the plants on the side of the road, but otherwise it was a great run. Didn't feel very difficult and the breathing was well under control.

This 2.5 miles was faster than the last two runs. Finally broke 8:30 pace. Felt like a sub 6 used to.
Slowly but surely...

20 min / 2 and a half mile warmup (Which was not warm at all - must have been 45 degrees - definitely need to stop wearing t-shirts at practice)
1 mile around a track so our coach can gauge us for indoor (5:08 - I've never been much of a miler).
8x300's, then 800m warmdown.
Did I mention it was really cold? I can only imagine how freezing Regionals are going to be up near Canada..
