we did it , 3 miles in 1 hr/ 11 minutes.we had 6 red hatters do the walk, rained on us the whole time, 20,000 plus people, quite an experience! We will do it next year,
Love you.

Mom really enjoyed the experience. She's 68. They did the walk-portion of the Race for the Cure. Maybe I will do the run and talk her into running the 5K next year. Very Happy

Mom gets extra bonus points for being out there today. It was miserable up here, worse than they forecast. Cold, windy, rainy just blech. Yay for your mom for getting out there and doing the race!

My mom is a breast cancer survivor and we have done this together - I was bawling the whole way - it's truly an amazing experience.

Embarassed I didn't run this race, just Mom and her Red-Hat Group! Embarassed

I should have used quotes:

"we did it , 3 miles in 1 hr/ 11 minutes.we had 6 red hatters do the walk, rained on us the whole time, 20,000 plus people, quite an experience! We will do it next year,

I stayed home and ran on the treadmill at the gym!!
Wink I did sponsor Mom on her race.
