HOly crap this program rules.
How about having construction on a route through KY, from 4/03 to 6/03 with an automatically mapped detour?
just incredible detail.

I've got an older version that I use to plot out longer bike rides. Works pretty well except that my part of the county has grown so much in the last few years that all of the roads aren't correct any more.

Cheryl, the Tri America Series goes to KY on July 26th for our 6th of 8 stops around the country. I'll be at each one.

Nope. The maps were too out of date.

Interesting.....so you find this way more accurate than Mapquest and some of the programs online??
Hmmm....maybe I should look into this for my road trip odyssey to Madison.

Mapquest is crap. Good for general directions, but, if they didn't have the aerial photos, it would be completely useless to us cartographers. I've never seen so many mistakes on maps before. But, you take what you can get, no?

Streets and Trips ROCKS! We have a version that's a couple of years old, but that program has saved our lunch many times! We have a huge stack of the maps/directions I've printed off of that program sitting in our car.
That program mapped our journey from Ak to Tx and up to NJ. It's mapping our trip from NJ to CA. It includes restaurants and hotels with addresses and zip codes.
It is amazingly detailed and accurate.

Hmmmmm.....maybe I'll get that. Does it do the highways too or just more local areas? I really mainly want the best highway directions.
