Didn't do crap today or yesterday... feeling like crapocity & got my lazy on.
Didn't make the bed (  ).
Didn't do laundry (  ).
So he writes a note on the mirror in my bathroom.
"House looks great! (Just kidding.)"

He doesn't do you-know around the house, literally not even taking the garbage out. But if the house doesn't look perfect all the time he makes his little comments about how terrific it looks, as a (doubtful) subtle hint to get my a$$ in gear. Not that I'm even a messy person, really, most of this mess is cleaning up after HIM!
This is the first time I've ever gotten it in writing, though.

There is no doghouse around here... Michael has down-pat what you RR guys seem to be missing big time: getting put in the doghouse can have a kickback effect if one chooses to use it... M turns it right around when I'm mad & becomes impossible to live with.

I think you should go on strike for a week. Let him see how hard it is to work AND keep the house perfect, especially if, like you said, it's him you're cleaning up after and not you. Grrrrrr........BIG FAT SMARMY WANKER!

OH, definitely!!
You guys shoulda seen this house when I got back from Michigan... neat as a pin... then on that Sunday when his best friend George was over watching football the truth came out... he called George over to help him clean it all up!
Now I know two things:
He ain't Mr. Neatness himself!
He can clean and do a pretty nice job; in other words, he's not incapable of it, and yet he refuses to do it!!
GRRRR indeed! Wanker!
