Smaller group these days about 35 or so. One of our Female memebers competed in the Lake Placid Half Marathon last weekend. She was the first female finisher I don't have her time but it was around 1:30. Even more amazing since she had a baby just last year. All power to her. Several other of our members finished quite well.

Anyway, the session was a lot easier than last week's "Roller Coaster". This week coach was nice to us. He had us to 5X1000 Meter intervals. Run at pace for 1000M, one minute rest between intervals. "Pace" is your 5K race pace for one mile plus 30 seconds. So its somewhere around an extra 30 seconds for each Km.

Next week is track training. We have about 5 more sessions of Wednesdays, then its Winter season. I'm working on one of the guys at work to come out with me Wednesday AM after work.

I am constantly amazed at how quickly I recover between heats.
