Well the masochists met once again for the Wednesday night pain fest. Last night it was 5 X 1000m (Thousand Meters). We were supposed to do it "at pace" of about 6:30 with a one minute rest stop between intervals. Well my 1,000 meters was about 5:40. I did the last 1000 slower at 6:10.
Had new shoes on also - everything feels pretty good so far.
Next week, more of the same. I'm sure coach will find us some hills to play with.

I'm in group 4 (Straggler Patrol). The REALLY Fast people are in group 1. I think without exaggeration, their speed is somewhere around 2 minutes per 1000M.
