Apparently they're doing an American Rev. reenactment in Downingtown on May 14 and they're looking to do some advertising. It's 10-3 and they'll be 5 regiments and cannons and stuff.
I refrained from asking her if they needed a tavern wench.
A good day should be had by all, according to Martha. Ya'll come out.

I believe the correct term in those days was "Camp Follower"

That was the technical term. The "lay" term was Molly....and now you know how "Molly" Pitcher got her name...a Molly with a pitcher of water for the soldiers..
I am sort of an 18th century historian....
