Quite the negative split on the second half after hitting the halfM mat at 1:45. Surprised

the 14 mile point is right at the start (about 100 yards west), mile 20 is right at the turn around to come back.

interesting his 14 and 20 mile splits are not there.

He also has no pictures of him after mile 12. All pics were prior to that point and the finish.

That stinks.

Wow. That's a pretty huge accusation.

why, because legit people who earn the right to run in Boston are hardworking people.

People who cheat cheapen those who actually perform.

I'm not (totally) convinced. It took him 7 minutes to get to the start....so his first half was more like 1:38 of course that still means an awesome second half of 1:10. Not probably, but not impossible. He may be a 2:20 runner that got to the start late.

there is no way he would have missed the chip mats. The course was designed that you have to hit them. That is my big beef.

I don't know anything about Pug and his running history, or even much about chip mats and marathons, but looking over the results there are a lot of people who are missing chip times from various points (especially the half). Couldn't there be any other explanation for it?

I have no idea whether Pug cheated or not. I just seems like something you should have some pretty solid proof of before accusing something of.
