What can you tell me about mapping software for runners? I must admit that I’m not very good with orientation in space and I’ve gone astray many times. Now, since I’m very food of trail running, which takes place, as we all know, off the beaten track I’d like to have something that’ll help me find my way back through the countryside.

Hello friend! I think that you need a GPS navigating device. That’s what has saved me several times when I was running during the winter. I had no idea where I was and that little gadget gave me the precise coordinates and showed me my way back. You can either fill the memory card of the device with maps of the area you’re running through, or you can subscribe to update maps and your location via satellite. Isn’t that great? There are numerous manufacturers and you can choose between average priced and those very expensive, professional devices. I don’t know the exact cost, but I’m sure you’ll find something that suits you.
