Posted: 01/02/03 - 16:22 Post subject: Make room for me in Christmas cookie detox tank.
Over my extended break, I ended up baking quite a few Christmas cookies and a bunch of breads.
I like doing cookies because it gives my youngest daughter and I some together time but the outcome of the together time has too many calories and I'm a sucker for cookie dough. I gave away most of the cookies but ate quite a few myself. Now that I'm back at work and away from the cookies, I'm beginning to have withdrawl symptoms.
Back to carrot stick and celery for me.

No, no PH, cold-turkey is not the best treatment. Go with the patch, man. Gluestick a gingerbread man to your bicep and let it soak in. Then work down to some of those cutout cookies and finally the cookie press kinds. Eventually the cravings will subside. Either that or enough crumbs will work their way up your sleeve and down into your briefs that you'll never want to see an xmas cookie for at least eleven months.

Oh, yeah. My aunt used Cookie-trel. She swears by it. She used Cookie-rette first, but it didn't seem to work nearly as well.

Book a four hour flight on New Year's Eve where all you can eat fits into a cardboard box about the size of your hand.
