I think appearance-wise, besides the apparent need for tattoos and slightly tweaked clothing and footwear, I am low. No makeup. No nailpolish. No extra fru fru crappy crap. A little hair gel. That's it. Okay, sometimes purple hair gel...
Emotionally, though I think I can tend to be higher maintenance as you have seen with my Emotional Tuesday posts. Ranger and I seem to balance tho, in that when he's low I can help and vice versa.
Rule #4. Only one of us can spin off into the atmosphere at a time.

I am low maintenance daily. I am high maintenance when going "Out". I am high maintenance in a restaurant. I am high maintenance when taking care of the house. I am low maintenance when being social (keeping up with friends, sending cards, buying gifts, keeping in touch with relatives).

Appearance-wise, low. In all other aspects I am high maintenance. I demand much of myself and therefore demand much of others, in all capacities. If you are my acquaintance, not so much. If you are a true friend, I expect the sun, the moon, and the stars because I'd give them to you. Though I know more high maintenance DUDES than CHICKS.

MODERATE here. 
I go both ways depending on the situation.
I very LOW during the day. Can throw on a baseball hat, no makeup, running garb, etc...without a care.
Going out. Clothes ironed and pressed, makeup, hair done, perfume, all that garb...with a care. So, I'm HIGH there. However, I don't carry a bunch of makeup around in my purse or primp to the "n"th degree while out/dressed up either.
