What are ya trying to do with it?
There's not much I haven't managed to pull of with Access. I almost never gives me problems.

I heart Access. Most all of the duplication of work that was done previously in this position I have automated with Access.

heavy duty database stuff - partial matching on names and addresses.
mostly what we're doing it just too big for what Access can do - always up at the 2 gig limit.
I miss being able to do a full outer join, a count( distinct id )
and it's dawg slow.
indexes don't seem to help much and we don't have the space.
The one thing I cann't complain about is my hourly rate - well unless I look at what my pimp gets compared to what I get.

Access is good for that sorta stuff, light duty office stuff but as a serious database tool it sucks eggs!

There ya go. Way too much stuff. Most of my files are only around 10-30 MB size, and only under 200k records. Any bigger and we use Access as a front-end to the MS-SQL server.
