I finally have my photos of my experience doing the Houston-Austin MS 150 in April with my mom (yes, its taken a while to get these developed and on CD!)
Okay, without labeling me with the "you suck at UBB" thing, I can post some photos ....if someone shows me how....
Thanks!

If you have them uploaded to a web server somewhere, then you can just wrap the URL in the img tags. Like this:
| Code: | | [img]http://www.yourserver.com/photos/photo1.jpg[/img] |
If you don't have them uploaded to a web server, you can e-mail them to me and I'll do it for you.

Thanks PH!!! Some day I'll figure out this internet/photo stuff....
The photos are what I was able to take with a crappy disposable camera, some while actually riding....but I thought several of them turned out decent.
Some explanations....
the one titled Hwy 71 doesn't quite capture the actual view I had, but, that was actually while I was riding out of Bastrop State Park on 71 and I swear off in the distance I could see Austin (still another 30 miles away). An incredible view, but I realized mid photo that I was coming up on an incredible downhill....wanting to keep my camera but not kill myself I actually had to shove said disposable camera INTO MY MOUTH as I cruised 35ish mph with a death grip on my bike into Bastrop!! I have done more intelligent things in my life....but me and my camera survived!!
The one titled "starting the MS 150" is actually my mom (60 years old! but don't tell her I told you) and I at the start at about 6 am. And yes, we both did the whole thing! I'm so proud of her!
Team West U is the team we were on, we had over 250 on our team, it was a blast. The "houligans" photo (PH you have no idea how appropriate that name is...) is just a few of us who got together at one of the earlier rest stops (thus we're still pretty hyper!!). That team typically wins the award for "most spirit". You may get a small idea why from that photo...
We stayed the night at the La Grange, TX fairgrounds and then left from there the next morning. The rest of the photos are actually of scenes of 10,000 bikers trying to file out of there. Obviously it took a LONG time to get all of us out of there, so out of boredom I took several photos. But it was amazing to me to see so many people on bikes in one place!
PH, my trek held up great! I had no problems with it at all. I really love that bike, I am so glad I made the investment in it!
Riding 180 miles and for such a great cause really was incredible. If anyone has a chance to do the MS 150 in your area (or is crazy enough to venture down here to Texas for the nation's largest) DO IT! It was probably one of the best experiences of my life.

That would explain the photo you sent me of the inside of your mouth. I thought maybe you got some dental x-rays mixed in there, too, but now I know. BTW - You have great looking teeth!
