Also, check the website out. They've finally added more into it (course map, FAQs, and hotels) which leads me to my next question.
I stayed at the Best Western Inn on the Park on Capitol Square when I ran it and it's the best location. The start line is right at the hotel's entrance. $89 bucks a room, that's a pretty good deal. I'm gonna call to see if they have anything open right now.
I think I only rec'd 3 responses about the rooms. Again, who all is interested in getting a block o' rooms?

Just called. They've got a bunch of rooms already blocked off for the marathon ( this will keep things quiet the night before the race)...$89 bucks. Again, it's pretty nice. Downtown location with underground parking included.

Seriously considering it...it all depends on my friends in Chicago (I'd make a whole trip out of it) and my health (knee, asthma...)
I'd say 70% chance I'll be there.

It's a damn shame that the Oyster Bros. can't make it, Cappy! We'll make sure to call you two every 5 minutes

I'm in for the half as well. I'll be staying at my folks.
I pretty much just started my training with our Feb event, but I'll be ready. I won't be breaking any course records, but I will be ready.
FYI on the start of the half - the start line is nowhere near the BW (look at the course map), but they will have shuttles running people to the start. The Full and the 10K do start at the square near the BW though.
