GB is May 23rd, Coach.
And to answer your question on whether we should do GB over Madison.....Would you rather have lobster? or a Filet-O-fish?

sorry dude, I don't know what I was thinking about.
And, I prefer Salmon, which is not on your menu.
I'd really love to come, but just looking at the prospect of it all, it don't look real likely.

Did we ever think of changing the venue to Green Bay? Isn't that marathon around the same time? (June) | June is when the NFC North Champion Green Bay Packers start summer camp. Or so I've been told.

you ARE comparing the cities in general not the race itself.....cuz then I just might have to disagree.....Green Bay knows that 1/2 marathon = 13.1 miles....all those smart peoples in Madison have come up with a way to mathematical make it 12.4

Suuuuuuuuuue....you gotta come to Madisonnnnnnnn.........
Shelf, did we decide where we're staying? I really think we should do the BW again this year, it's pretty cheap, close to the action, and for the short amount of time we spend in the hotel itself it just doesn't make sense to spend a lot of money on rooms.
What say you, all?
For those of you who went last year, how do you feel about doing Gino's again for the pre-race dinner? I think they rocked!

Posted: 01/11/04 - 09:28 Post subject: woohoo - i found this site again
Greetings from "Land of the Lost" I think last time i was on this site I was in a different age group. LOL Well, anyway, how is everyone. I'm doing ok, I've penciled in Madison Marathon (preferably reffered to as Mad-City) on my race calendar. Last year before going of on triathklon hiatus, i did Music City Marathon in Nashville, it wa an allright race, but was even more fun because I got to see an old buddy (well not old, same age as I am) from our neighborhood.
I've decided on Madison partly because it is close to home, comes at a really good time of the year for me. Ive run Amdsion a few times in the past. I've always been leary of it due to some of the problems they've encoutnered with organization. I hope they've got the bugs allworked out.
Hope everyone is doing well
Steve
