I'm having chiken-seasoned couscous* w/ a baked chicken breast.
*I'm trying to cook more new stuff. I've never had couscous before, it's not too bad.

Couscous is just teeny tiny pasta nuggets. What could be wrong with that?

I like couscous too! It's big in Moroccan cooking.
I'm having a horribly exciting salad with tuna in it and jello for dessert. I'm doing a modified version of South Beach as support for my girlfriend who has quite a bit of weight to lose (and let's face it, I could stand to drop a few myself) and honestly, the food rocks and you're not hungry and it'll help me get my perpetually fluctuating blood sugar settled. After hearing of relative #3 that is having part of his foot amputated from diabetes, which runs rampant in my family, I think it's time to make some healthy changes to the eating. And it's not like this isn't stuff I'd eat anyway. Salmon, asparagus and eggplant for dinner, how bad can this be?

It really isn't bad eating at all, even the "strict" part. I backed off on the pasta a while ago. My big weakness is bread, but I do like the grains and rye and stuff so it isn't such a hardship to give up the white stuff. Really, this one's more sensible eating than any I've seen yet.

I had a salad with low-fat ranch dressing. It was actually quite filling.

I had a ham/swiss on wheat and an orange. I went easy on lunch after consuming nearly a half a banana cream pie for breakfast.
