Church and State arguements crack me up. I see both candidates of both parties (up and down the line, national to local) in churches trying to get votes. Inner city churches in this area are notorious for being a sounding board for the dems.
Churches can endorse whomever they chose. I have no problem with churches making endorsements at all.

An endorsement is just that, and I'm sure that carries alot of weight with parishoners and is fine with me in general.
It's a totally different thing to tell members that if they vote a certain way they will not be allowed to partake of communion (the central sacrament of the Roman Catholic faith), and that's what at least a few of the bishops statements have said, either implicitly or explicitly.
And I agree with robp on trolling. . . how else are you going to catch those sly sportfish?!
