Seven months or seven minutes; older is older and that's all that counts. |
Something that my young bride reminds all to often

I was a boy, she was a girl can I make it any more obvious? I was a punk, she did ballet....
Okay, seriously now, first time I met the wife was outside some random party. We shook hands and went our own way. (or is it ways?)
3 years later we would bump into eachother again and become great friends. One day it both occured to us that we would make one heckuva 'saucy' couple so we dived in, head first. Two years ago I booked us a bed n breakfast (gave this to her on Valentines Day), knowing that I would propose to her then.
I dropped the bomb. She accepted and it's been hella-blissful since...

At an NROTC party. Before we even met, my friends and I had planned a ski trip...some of my friends were his friends (but we weren't friends..we didn't know each other)...I couldn't go on the trip, but he did. Then, I and a friend were going to check out the dorms in a different bulidling for the following year....it was his room we were going to check out. I decided to transfer, so never checked out the room. Finally, friend and I drove to Marquette to meet friends and party. Guess who I finally met? Third time a charm!
