First day of college, first class, first person we each talked to.
<famous opening line> "Excuse me, is this the calculus class?"
I wouldn't recommend using that line too often, it's high powered.

met at college - senior year. i had just been dumped after a 3 yr. long relationship. my roomie said she wanted me out and about -- so we listened to jimmy buffet and had margaritas and then whooooooshed in on the future mr. rock's house unannounced. we were in a fubby mood. he was studying for an engineering test. he got fubby with us.
that's all she wrote. my roomie claims it was truly love at first sight. Shocked

engaged 6 months later. married 12 months after that. sigh.

cue that love boat theme again cheeks.......

i met amy at the bar i used to work at...she was friends with an acquaintence of mine and they both happened to show up at the bar just as my shift was getting over...it was definitely lust at first sight....that led to a night of playing darts, picking out songs on the juke box, card tricks, spilled mountain dew, a lost shoe, kissing under the moonlight, and ended with me getting her phone number written on my arm with her eye liner...

Mutual friend (who liked me) introduced us in college. I guess that was the mutual friend's mistake! After our first date I knew I was going to marry her.

Pebbs and I went to High School together- she was a year ahead of me, but we never spoke to each other.

Several years later I was asked to help out with our Alma Maters Track and Field team (throwing events) and guess who was coaching the distance runners. We went on our first date a few weeks later (very scandalous around the impressionable high school kiddos).

And I proposed a year later on..ummmmm....ummmm
oh yeah Valentine's Day.

Summer term 1986. My roommate was friends with his friend. He and I were just tagging along with our respective friends at a college bar, "The Keg". We talked about him being a vegetarian, spirits (the spooky kind) and music. Felt a connection unlike any other. He's the only person I had ever hovered by the phone waiting for him to call the next day.

We met at a new years party in 1990 of a mutual friend. Both of us decided to go at the last minute. Love blossomed from there.

He was a courier (sort of like a UPS guy) and used to make a daily delivery to our company. I'd not long been separated from my partner I'd been with since a young teenager, and certainly wasn't looking for a replacement. I just thought i'd take this very fine piece of eye candy home and play with it for a while.... That was 12 years ago now pink love ..

Older women, are beautiful lovers.
Older women, they understand.
I've been around some
and I have discovered that
older women know just how to treat a man.

It's only seven months, but I still like to tease her about it.

Seven months or seven minutes; older is older and that's all that counts.
