Would be cooler if it catapulted you off into a pit of plastic balls after 20 minutes....

In the second apartment complex The Paramedic and I lived in, they had a fairly nice sized gym. That noise here is the exact same one a tiny, tiny old Asian man made when he misstepped on the treadmill in his flip flops, which caused him to fall off and hit the wall with a very nice FWACK.

It's 25 minutes if someone is waiting. I suppose if I went up there on a Saturday evening, I could probably run for 2 hrs. |
We used to have the 20-min limit. The treadmill was actually programmed to turn off, right at 20. Talk about annoying. Finally a couple years back they got 3x as many and took off the limits. Now it's an "on your honor" 30-minute limit if someone is waiting...kinda rare. Sunday mornings are when I've done my real long ones. Esp in the winter I can catch the NFL pregame and much of the first games of the day. |
The gym that i go to has a 25 min limit but if it's nearly empty you can pretty much run as long as you want.

3 miles in about 30 minutes. That had to have been the longest 30 minutes of my life!

8 miles
two separate times.
Several 7 mile runs.
TV, a powerful fan and plenty of water make it a great experience. I will likely try a 10 miler this year.
TM does not bother me at all.
