Do you have any advice regarding long ride and climb advice? I’m planning to go for a longer ride these days and I don’t know whether the combination of long ride and uneven, hilly terrains is good for a man of my age. That already sounds exhausting. I’m in a good health, it’s just that I’m over forty and I don’t know how it can affect my heart.

If your health is good and if you haven’t had any heart conditions or something similar, you can try to achieve your goal, but the moment you feel very tired and exhausted, stop pushing yourself and make a pause. If you have practiced sports activities before this, I don’t think that you should have any problems about that and maybe you should only visit your doctor and consult him about your plan. Maybe you should first try a long ride and if it is successful, introduce some hilly terrains. Another important thing is to hydrate yourself properly and I think that you won’t be having any unexpected situations. Take care.
