I have just got married. To a runner. We haven’t been living together before so I am beginning to notice some behaviors from my husband related to running. He told me that that was the way he had been doing for a long time and that he was not going to change it. Don’t get me wrong. I have no objections to that. After all, seeing him running instead of going to the pub (and be brought home drunk) has its advantages, don’t you think so?

Yeah, I know what you mean. My husband is a runner too. It took me a while before I got used to it. Those folks that run have some special jargon. They tend to hang out together and seem to share common interests. You know what; if you can’t beat them you can join them. I was trying to fight it but it was getting worse. So, I have decided to join him. My marriage has flourished since then; I developed new interests in my life and made some new friends. Everyone is a winner. I suggest you try the same thing. Although it seems strange, you could have such a good time.
