I'm preparing next year's training schedule and need to know which of the Canadian holidays are days that the whole country take off. Help, please.

National Holidays that you get the day off?

Commonwealth Day, March 8, 2004
Victoria Day, May 24, 2004
Canadian Memorial Day, July 1, 2004
Civic Holiday, August 2, 2004
Labor Day (Us & Canada), September 6, 2004
Canadian Thanksgiving, October 11, 2004

Don't forget "Boxing Day"..Dec 26th.

Made that mistake once.. nothin' open on that day. And here, it's like the second biggest retail day of the year.

What goes on during "Boxing Day" ? Exactly.

I mean, are nation wide...grannies and aunties and everyone strapping the gloves on?

Does each family have a ring put up in the living room? Or is this a family fued type of thing? Hatfields vs McCoys? My Dad can beat up your Dad...
