I still think it's funny how everyone blames Selig for this. It was the owner's fault in the first place, not his. I guess we might as well blame everyhting going wrong with baseball on Selig. He's the scapegoat.

blame whoever you want, baseball kept expanding the number of teams it had, into Arizona, Florida, Tampa, and Colorado, and then just a few years later, they want to contract teams?
Baseball is messed up, and Selig, being the head of a messed up organization, is going to bear the brunt of this. I don't think it's necessary his fault, but it is his problem to deal with.
