Since my starts officially at 0700 today I will start.

Have a doctor's appointment with Abby regarding some major surgery next week.

Not much else today.
Saturday. Race expo for the Broad Street Run, maybe pick up some good deals on stuff.

Sunday-Running my 10th Broad street run. I have run this race more than any other race. I will be looking for Elkid and Runslikeagirl at the start.

Nothing else planned.

I'm taken a half day to sign some papers at the lawyers, and then I am going to look at PC's to replace the one lost in the fire. I post way too much from work PLUS....cappy just HAD to give me a new forum to go look at Shocked

Time I spend working: 30 min.... Time I spend posting: 7 hours 30 min. Hmm looks like a good ratio to me Twisted Evil

Now...lets see...laptop or tower with flat screen....ah the choices.... Mr. Green

My weekend started at 4:20 Thursday afternoon.

So my plans for the weekend? Today I'm driving out to Iowa (actually wil be leaving in 1.5 hours). Saturday at 7am I start my race and will finish the race at 7am Sunday. After eating breakfast in Iowa, I'll be headed back to Purdue. I hope to get back around 5 Sunday afternoon, just in time for church Sunday night! I will post the results of the race as soon as I can. It probably won't be until Monday afternoon.

My best (and really only one) is 63.56 miles. That was 2 years ago. This year I hope to get over 100 miles.

The other guy I'm going out with will probably do 105-110.

I just realized as I read your post, Joe, about the expo in Philly that of course there will be an expo for Sunday's Pgh marathon. I had planned to go to the shoe store for new ones but I'm gonna try to get to the expo for a superdeeduper deal from the same store I always buy at.

friday: girls night out: clothes shopping for daughters (nothing fits them from last summer) and dinner out
saturday: 8 a.m. soccer (ugh), paint the patched hole in the livingroom wall, chores, buy shoes at the expo <crossing fingers>
sunday: yardwork, travel soccer game, run, more chores

This extended weekend is first and foremost about the much-anticipated arrival of RunsLikeAGirl. So excited!

Friday: buy groceries so The Paramedic doesn't starve. Finish cleaning house so RunsLikeAGirl doesn't think I live in total squalor. Savor Chinese takeout.

Saturday: SHE ARRIVES! Down to the BSR expo, then dinner with beaucoup fellow Riff Raffers.

Sunday: BSR! 10M of pure unadulterated city streets. Looking to shatter some PRs here. Then a big fat juicy steak dinner at Engine 46. Then lots of tequila. LOTS of tequila.

Monday: farewell breakfast for RLAG. Recup from hangover caused by LOTS of tequila. Mini-trip to Allentown to see buddy.

Life is good!
