What's your limit for how long you will let leftovers sit in the fridge and still nuke and eat it?
Depending on the food I'll go anywhere from "will never eat it" to after 3 days I'll take a good look at it and probably throw it out. So my limit would be 2 days. Then I get creeped out by the thought of bacteria and what not.

I have gone 3 or 4 days before and didn't care. There is some stuff in my fridge that is about a week old. It will get pitched in the next couple days. Basically I'll clean it when I find the time.

If it is still there on Thursday it is still good. Friday is garbage day so after dinner Thursday anything left is thrown out.

One or two days in the fridge. After that, sealed up tight and placed in freezer where it will have a much longer shelf and recovery life.

One to two days depending on what it is and whether I decide I want to eat that again. Most of my leftovers go straight to my mother's house so she doesn't have to cook.
