im off to NYC in about 2 hours for the New Balance games at the Armory
im a Sophmore in HS and me and three other kids are running in a Sophmore Championship 4 by 400 at the Armory in NYC for the New Balance Games
i am also running a 4 by 200
ive worked my ass off all year to make it to the top 4 400 runners in my class ( abour 850 kids ) and it all comes down to basically this one meet!
I will be running a Quarter Mile and 200 and we think we have a REAL good chance of medaling in the 4 by 400!
wish me luck 
ill post how i do on Saturday night when i get home!

MY TEAM MEDALED IN THE 4 by 400!!!
i ran my fastest quarter mile yet and got my p.r. and we came in the top six out of all the sophmore teams there
i got the baton in last place ( every one was kinda of close and my team was in the first heat with the six fastest teams ) and i passed two people and handed it off to our anchor ( i was third leg )
i got a p.r. foy my leg of the 4 by 200 too but my team was kinda shakey so we didn't place 
i am so excited now! my first medal

im not sure what other teams that medaled got but our time was 3:45.75
pretty good for a sophmore team
our varsity team has the highest rank HS 400 runner in the country so they kick ass about every time they run
i love watchin him race and our miler....he got 4:14 and is now the number one ranked HS in the country
( a little bragging but its not like its me )
i like watchin people like that run and seein what i could be if i keep trying
i have never done XC before, always indoor, but i think im gonna do it as a junior next year so i can keep in shape for indoor!
