Local commercial 'honor' goes to the Chicago Tribune. Their spots feature cartoons of people in the design of the figures you see on the door to public washrooms. They live their lives by whatever section of the paper they're reading. No speaking, just asinine music in the background.

They unloaded Sammy Sosa's contract, so you think the the Tribune Company would have some money to come up with something good.
