Yesterday when the kid at a high school in town got locked up for carrying a knife to school. He smelled like a whole dime bag.

Burning rope is the most common description.

Smells just like burning basil. Was working in a restaurant one evening and accidentally knocked a thingy of basil on the supah-hot flat top grill. 10 seconds later, every pot head in the kitchen was looking around to see who fired one up.

Last night, as I was laying in bed, watching the local news.

Just kidding. Mr. Green

Last time I remember smelling it was in a stairwell at a former employer a couple of years ago.

Hubby used to be a baggie-a-week guy.

What sized baggy?!?

I started thinking about this the other day when the thread about first concerts appeared. I saw Grand Funk. One of their hits was Inside Looking Out. On the studio version, the lyrics went:

Pain and blisters on my, mind and hands.
I work all day makin' up, burlap bags.

But in the live version, burlap was replaced by nickel. Of course, this went over well with the crowd. And now, back to the original question...

...back in the day, the size of the baggy was known by how much that specific amount cost. So, a nickel bag cost $5, a dime bag = $10. It's been quite a while and the memory isn't what it used to be but I believe that a whole bag (1oz.) was referred to as a lid. Measurement was done by the fingers method. And the fingers were held...oh, wait. This may not be news to anyone! And if I'm not careful, my paranoia might start acting up....

But a baggy per week? Depends on what size baggy...

Excuse me. I think I hear someone outside and I've got to close the blinds.

The $60-80/week kind.

When I think about all he smoked and how much money we could have had... ugh. Makes me ill.

Course now instead of smoking his habit, we surf the net and play games on it. Same difference. Still a lot of money, still a lot of hubby not being an involved kind of guy.

Smells like oregano, too, i believe. Burn some of that.

I think i smelled some in our apartment building last month. Not sure which door it was by. When i lived in my last building, for nearly two years, i smelled it every day in the hallway by my door. It was a lower class of building, and the smell proved it.

So, like, that's what, a 1/4 oz? Like I said, it's been a long time and way back in the way back, $80 would get you....a quarter LB! Oh wow, man...
