Alton Brown's "I'm just here for the food" It is a kind of a cook book and kind of a book that tells you how to cook. I'm a huge AB fan.

I'm a huge AB fan too. I went to one of his book signings to buy his cookbook (and get it signed). He is truly a funny, intelligent man. I like knowing why things work so his style is right for me.
I read Tuck Everlasting this weekend for the first time in 10 years or so. It was a childhood favorite of mine. Next weekend I'm taking my godsons to go see the movie.

Wife and daughter went to see that this weekend and they both gave it a thumbsup.

Me too! And I loved the Alchemist! It is very Candide-ish.
