Material woven by Satan's loom or cloth made by Angels?
It is almost impossible to find jeans anymore (at my regular haunts) that don't have "stretch" denim.
I am not comfortable in these.
You guys?

If you do find non stretch, non plumbers butt jeans then they look like
"mom"* jeans.
Can we have a happy medium please?
*not that there is anything wrong with mom jeans

I love it, it makes them fit better but I'm also 'bootylicious' and have a heckuva time finding jeans and it helps them keep their shape (instead of becoming saggy after the day goes on) but like crop tops and bikinis, there are DEFINITELY people out there wearing them who shouldn't be who are using them as a reason to bring back painted on jeans... So yeah, its a mixed bag I guess.

Word. I want* Rocky Mountains to come back into style. Jeans that can double as a corset seems to be the only solution to this horrible phenomenon of fashion.
*no not really but I don't want plumber butt

Love it love it LOVE IT! It completely solved my waistband problem. My waist is much smaller than my ass, so I always had, like, 3 inches of extra waistband once I found jeans that would fit everywhere else. The stretch denim allows me to get a size that fits my waist and is forgiving enough to allow for my butt. I'm wearing a pair right now, in fact. LOVE THEM!
Edited because I can't spell. And to add that I'm a fan of Gap's stretch denim boot cut jeans.

me too! NY & Co and Express have some really nice ones this season. Not like the old cheesy ones at all.....and it does solve the plumber butt problem also.

you traitor!!!!
i like to feel my jeans hang on me. stretch jeans can't hang on me.
i have some stretch jeans, i'd rather not wear them. they're too much like work.
stretch and denim seem like oil and water to me. i think it's my 70s mentality coming thru.

There should be no stretch in jeans. It's unAmerican.
