Actually, more the opposite is true for me. I dress for me usually and I feel comfy or cute or whatever and then my husband will say, "you know, that sweater makes you look sick".
*Granted, I was sick at the time and I had to explain that to him several times. Unfortunately he still wants to remove that sweater from my closet.

I know we shouldn't care what other people think as long as we like the look, but we do.  I'm getting better at it, but sometimes I do question my taste if I'm feelin' "all that" and nobody notices.

If I'm looking for a compliment I usually ask my husband. He's pretty good about that, 'course he's biased. But I still appreciate it. He's also easy to please, I've just got to wear jeans.

I don't look for anyone to tell me that something I'm wearing looks nice. I'm my own worst critic, so it wouldn't really matter what another person said. It bothers me more with what I think, than what anyone else thinks...
