I'd say a 5. I got it cut Saturday and he took a little too much off. It is just past chin length, very curly. The cut isn't terrible (though Jerry admitted he doesn't like it) but the color needs work. I haven't had it colored in quite a while and it is back to my normal dull brown. Ugh.

Highlighting, straightening and chlorine seriously damaged my hair so I had to cut about an inch or 2 off about a month ago. It's still long just not as long as I like it. It also needs highlighted again but not sure if I want to continue the blond thang!
Stay tuned.. |
i think highlighting is much like a crack addiction. you start out real subtle, then next time they turn it up some, then next time, it's "to die for" then next time it's over the top and you are deborah harey. somebody stop me.......
i am on the road to recovery - but still i am caving in to doing it myself.

The last time I colored my hair myself I ended up spending twice as much at the salon getting it fixed. Turns out medium brown on top and dark, dark brown on the ends is not a good look for me.

I like my hair (I give me a 10) although I don't think anyone else here would. It's very short. Spiky short. Looks like a boy cut short. But I've had short hair since I was four, and I like it. It's very thick, so when it gets longer it's just way too much trouble for me. Besides, I live in the heat and humidity kingdom of the world, so short is kinda the way to go.
What I don't like is the grey. But since I can unscrew a bottle, that little problem gets taken care of.

Okay I'm getting even with the girls who posetd on the Men's Hair thing....you know something I have always been curious about? Why is that I have always thought that every woman I've ever known had terrific hair, but they were never satisfied with it themselves? :

I like the short and spiky look. It just makes me look silly.

Pebbles - I like your hair. At least the hair from the Smilies contest photo. : naughty : omitted so bambam doesn't beat me up!
Flarunner - Like Susan Powter kind of short and spikey?

Believe me, if I could get away with the short/spiky thing I would. The one time I had short hair I looked ridiculous.
copdotcom - Women apparently see things in the mirror on themselves that are not visible to the naked eye of others. I don't know why this is...just my take on it.
