The Storm:
Gina and I were meeting in Atlanta and both took early flights, the Hurricane was still hitting the Keys Area as I left and were not sure the status of arrival, if we were going to be late or even make into the keys, Once we met up we went to the gate and saw that the strm had veered off to the W,NW heading along the northern edge of Flordia, this was good news for us.
The arrivial:
After arriving in Ft Lauradale (know to us as Dante's Inferno) we got the rental can and proceeded south to Islamorada pretty much hoping the roads were good and the AC in the Car would not burn out on us.  Genie had talked to Kristin and she was still on edge, as most of the family members were still trapped in Ft Lauradale.
We arrived at the Kristin's and Larry's house and when Kristin saw us was happy that her bridesmaid and one of her best friends endured the storm and made it.
There was family introductions and later we went to Morada Bay for cocktail party.
Wedding Day AM/early PM:
I guess some of the folks were still out as we were a bit off the schedule getting everything in place. I picked Genie up and we had a late breakfast, then went and delivered coffee and food to the bride and groom, and pretty much told them to get their @sses in gear we had a wedding at sunset to do. There was some time spent at the pool and finally the rest of the folks trapped up north arrived.
Sunset Wedding day:
The bridesmaids and bride arrived at sunset by boat to the place where the wedding took place, it was a great day and the an awsomw experience seeing two good friends gettin married around family, friends, co-workers, and the regular bar/lounge patrons wondering what the "hell" are all those folks wearing hawaii shirts doing.
