Let me first just say we have some amazing runners around this place! Everyone did great! I'll let everyone else fill you in themselves...

Ran this one with my brother. Temperature was probably low to mid 70s, finished maybe upper 70s - just a guess. Nice light breeze, low humidity.
Ben and I finished in 45:38 - a nice, comfy, talk-about-life kinda pace.

It was great meeting runfastsue, and great to see Joel, Shel, and Cjay again. Also got to meet up with my old HS cross country coach.

Only disappointment? No BBQ chicken this year!!! What is with that? Sad

Joel will have pictures - my camera wasn't working...

So, about a half hour after getting home, Joel calls me from his car and told me I got bronze in my age group! You gotta love small races!

Shelee, be expecting a package from the Kettle Race staff!!!

The only other thing that would've made my day complete is if I had gotten your brothers number!!!!

Great job Rando! And here you laughed when I asked if you wanted me to pick up your medal IF you placed!

Great to see you again! I'll mail you the bronze this week, yo!

The only thing I was wondering is what the silver medal winner finished in. There's no way I'd have kept up with you, Joel, you demon, but you never know...

so funny because i said: what are you two planning on running as we lined up. randy looks at ben and then he's casually says around a 9 minute pace. sure enough, that's what he did. yeah, they looked way to good when i passed them and as they crossed the finish line. good race, though, guys! it was fun.

and seeing our old algebra teacher. EEK. math flashbacks. i swear i turned into a little girl again. Our teacher, was like: hey, Michelle. and i reached out my hand and said: oh, hi, Mr. Debreux (sorry, rando, don't know how to spell that). Called him by his last name then had horrible math flashbacks...the true reason i didn't kick ass on this race...that and hills...

Rando, so fun to meet up and meet your family! It was fun.
