Beautiful day, not a very beautiful run. 33:47, 4th in age bracket, 29th out of 178 runners. Woke up with a very sore and stiff left hamstring, most likely due to a cramp I got Saturday morning while working on my truck. Cramp hurt like crazy and had me hopping around the driveway like a lunatic. It cleared out and I didn't think about it the rest of the day. Man was it sore Sunday. Finally got it loose enough I felt I could run. First mile was 6:20, felt great, like I could keep that pace forever. By end of 2nd mile the wheels were coming off and I don't know why. I just felt gassed. 6:45 was the second split and I don't recall the rest of them. Oh well, chalk it up to experience. 10k this coming saturday and my racing season is over.

Congratulations, Rob. Finishing as well as you did with the cramp and hamstring issues is a testimony to your determination.
