Kayano IX vs Kayano XIII

I have worn women's Asics Kayano IXs for years, but recently bought a pair of XIIIs when it became clear that I could no longer find new IXs. I find the XIIIs to be less comfortable -- perhaps less cushiony-feeling? I was wondering if anyone had worn and loved the IXs when they existed and might be able to suggest another shoe (Kayano or otherwise) with a similar feel.

If this matters: I am prone to supination and wear orthotics inside my running shoes.
