I'll be playing for a funeral tomorrow morning. The father of a friend from high school died. he had always said he wanted me to play Rhapsody in Blue at his funeral. Looks like I'm on! happy to do it for him, sad that he died.

i'm sorry about your friend's dad Keltic.
if you are playing Rhapsody in Blue, no disrespect intended, but
YOU ROCK.
No. 1 - that has to be an impossible song to play well.
No. 2 - you know you will be playing it well if you are playing it for a memorial service.
No. 3 - you're on and you so totally rock for doing this. i am completely impressed. His dad's gonna love it too.
Let's hear it for Keltic ------ (insert applause and cheering)

Rhapsody in Blue One of my all time favorites. I always loved Gershwin, his music turned me on to jazz.
You do, in fact, rock Keltic!

A big 1 to both of those. I'm impressed. And how great is that song? I loved United Airline's ad campaign a few years ago that used it.

awesome song, they've asked me to do some excerpts, not the whole thing (20 minutes as I recall, so I'm using that slow part, from the United Airline's campaign)
will be practicing tonight, that's for sure.

Good luck with everything, Steve. Will be a nice way to honor your friend's dad.
