She did say some silly things to the media about the french a while back. So, she had to expect something from them.

With fans cheering her mistakes, Williams fell short in her bid for a fifth consecutive major title Thursday, losing to Justine Henin-Hardenne 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 in a riveting semifinal at the French Open.

Discussing the hostile crowd treatment, Williams became tearful at her postmatch news conference.

"It's a little difficult," she said. "I've had to fight. It's just another fight I'm going to have to learn how to win. I'm just going to have to keep smiling."

Hitler....Hitler...no, should I know it?

No, seriously, I know he was a black Olympic runner pre-WWII and I know he won some medals and it has some historic significance but I know I'm missing a few details....
