Every internet forum with more than 2 members has a thread about it, so I guess in that sense, it's a big deal. Got some radio airplay this AM too.

I didn't see it myself, but I think it was planned.

I think it's a big deal in that children were watching. Children attend the Super Bowl. Children watch it on tv. It was not the appropriate forum for that sort of thing, IMO. For that matter, I'm not sure that's appopriate on anything but something rated R.

Of course it was planned. Look at the last line of Timberlake's song: "Gonna have ya naked by the end of this song," and poof, out pops her boob. We didn't see her natural um, areola, either. Did anyone notice that it was white and glittery? (at least it appeared this way to me, it was a quick peek.) That tells me that it was planned and not an accident if nothing else does...

Sometimes a boob is just a boob.

Wouldn't it have sucked for her if no one noticed?

Thank goodness for the anti smoking and anti drug commercials to offset
all the other vices being sold. Mr. Green

It's a pastie. A tassel is one of those things on a pair of bad loafers, or on your mortarboard.

You know, the fortunate and unfortunate thing about celebrity is that young people are watching, and young people like to emulate what they see. As a parent, it is my job to take these teachable moments and reinforce the values I find important. It's just hard because we're being bombarded by inappropriate images and behavior. I cannot even walk through the mall with my kids because there are half-dressed to almost no-dressed posters everywhere.

It's hard to teach my impressionable almost-12-year-old daughter that it's ok to be modest and respect your body when Madonna and Brittney are frenching on an awards show, and Janet is showing her breast during half-time of a football game.

I'm all for being comfortable in your skin, free expression, and etc. I just think that there is a time and place to display your wares, and the super bowl isn't that place.
