That's not a piercing. Think of it as a star with a hole in the middle attached to the nipple.

she's not covered. i think she was *supposed* to be covered, but definately wasn't... and she seemed pretty friggin surprised about it, cuz she looks down kinda confused like something was missing.
at any rate, apparently MTV won't be planning a superbowl halftime show again
not too sure what the point of the stunt was, it's not like JJ needs that kinda hype. |
Look again. Here's a site that has a couple pics of her "performance" (enter site, it's in the photos for 2004)

You have to know, that after offering their "apologies" all parties involved are grinning and high fiving over the controversty they started. All over a "wardrobe mishap".

it's prolly a piercing. I've seen this jewelry. the star has a small hole in the center, but it's held in place by the piercing jewelry ie a "barbell."

Having reviewed the evidence....
Would it be inappropriate for me to say...
"Nice Rack"
C'mon people, it's just a boob.
I do think it was inappropriate to have on TV when children are watching, but....it's not that bad. Remember when the Dice man said his nursery rhymes live on MTV...now that is offensive.

Even though I do think it was an inapporiate act to start controversy so JJ could sell and album or two. I think we have thin skin. Even Andrew Dice clay, come on. If you don't like it, don't watch it. It is that simple.

I'm pretty sure that most people watching the half-time show didn't expect to see a booby displayed though.

It's kinda hard to choose not to watch something you don't know is coming.

Being a healthy hetero male i did not have a problem with it.
HOWEVER i did quickly think, "how could they do that?" yes due to kids watching, religeous folks and well hetero woamen don't really want to see her boobs.
However i already had a coined a term for this years SB just knowing the contaversy started by JJ. BOOBIE BOWL 2004

I would expect those who did signed up for the lingerie bowl.

Yup, laughing all the way to the bank. "Wardrobe mishap", indeed.
