As per the trend, January has been my best month thus far. As of Tuesday 1/28 I have 117.5 miles. I am scheduled for another 14 this month. That will give me a total of 131.5 miles. My highest month before this was December with 105 miles. I am very pleased with these numbers. My 8k PR was icing on the cake!!!

I still missed a 3 runs totaling 13.5 missed miles. My goal next month is to not have as missed missed running days.
thumbs up You know, though, weather does dictate a lot. Just be careful. The other day when I was runnning in a blizzard I thought: I am a fool. And this is dangerous. But I was already 3 miles away from my house when the words of wisdom echoed in my head.

If I get the 12 miles in on thurs. and fri., which I fully expect to do, I'll have 131.9 miles for this month. Well that didn't happen, so I'll have to revise. My January statistics.:
124.9 miles
Time: 13h 24m 28s
Avg. Pace: 8:45/mile

thumbs up

Shelly

Big Fat 1

Let's just say barring injury, this will be my lowest mileage month of 2003...

Ironman 2004 maybe. Have to learn to swim 2.4 miles in the ocean first. Neutral

Not quite where I wanted to be, but I'll take it.. 128 miles running & 72km of rowing. All in all, still on track for 03 goals.
