 I finally broke that frickin' 8 minute pace. I haven't gotten the official race results, but it was either 23:35 or 23:40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!! And the race was for kids. Despite the rain and the cold...I had a great run. Felt really pretty strong at the end of it and wished I had kicked it in a bit more!!! I'm happy, though. No hardware...but a PR is great to take home.
