He went to bed tonight not clutching a doll but two models, 1 of a Chevy Silverado short bed extended cab pickup and the other was a hess helicopter with a rescue cycle and humvee inside. He rocks.

He can also name (at 2 1/2) different types of buses, dump trucks, rollie (steamrollers) loaders, back hoes, fire trucks, police cars, big old trucks, beer trucks Shocked , mail trucks and trains.

He knows the names of the following tools: screwdriver, level, and drill. And he can pick out screws from a pile of screws and nails.

Yeah I am teaching him right.

Good job Joe. Their aren't enough dudes being raised these days. Political correctness is thinning the dude ranks. My kids are both on their way to being full fledged dudes.

Too cool! When our jr dude was a dude-in-training (about 4 years old) we
were in the car driving around town with my very proper MIL. Colin shouts out: Look at all the hookers!!! My MIL about swallowed her tongue! Turns out we were driving by a lot full of cranes.

I like seeing little boys be boys. But then again, I wanted a Tonka Truck really bad when I was a little girl. Never got one. Maybe I'll buy the grown up version someday....
