My bike is finally here!!!
4 weeks and 5 days later (but who's counting) my bike has arrived. Trek 5200. So excited! I have Friday off this week so I'm going on Friday to be fit on it and make some additions to it.(aero bars, new pedals, bike computer.) I don't even know what color he ordered. I told him I didn't want the USPS logos on it and I wanted a double NOT triple chain ring. As long as he got those two things right I'm happy!

Um, why no third (granny) chain ring? I live for mine (but I also never train in hills...  )

I have a ton of hills and for some reason I love going up them. For the past 12 years I've been riding a cannondale with a double and it's been fine for me. I hear the hills at Lake Placid are huge so when I'm doing the IM I may wish for the granny gear.

So excited it finally came in...............you are going to be flying on that new bad girl of a bike. Cannot wait for our first ride together with your new bike. Definitely need to get my act in gear and get me one of those new bikes!!
