outside. 3-4" of fresh snow, turns that gray bleak environment into a winter wonderland. Pity those poor snowbelt dwellers, up to 18" or more in the northeast counties.... Plus I did my good deed for the week by towing some yoyo out of a ditch. Some young kid had his ford escort ditched quite well - I made him wade thru the muck and mire to hook the chains up though.....

I did it for free today  My mom's drive, the gf's drive and my own. That's probably all I'll do this year unless some folks ante up some coins.

we're getting the snow now, it was too late to cancel or delay school, but bus drivers have come into the building to say that if it keeps snowing, they'll have trouble getting the kids home.

yee-haw. i just had the toyota sled out for the first time this year.  no steering, locked up brakes --- almost all the way to the bus stop! a record for me -- and no mailboxes were lost. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
to my credit -- it's a van, with rear-wheel drive. a virtual dinosaur in the freekin' snow.

While we're talking about weather... it's actually getting somewhat cold around here. 33 last night, supposed to be in the mid 20's tonight. High for today of "only" 46.
