Real. but since i have no official Christmas decorations or lights my youngest son and I will be installing our own decorations. My tackle box contents will be dangling from our tree this year Mr. Green

..... and they come with hooks already installed! Maybe we'll use a bobber at the top...

we have a real one at home

the bfs grandparents (where we go for xmas day lunch) is fake. and it rotates.

the other grandparents (where we go for xmas day dinner) have a fake one too because one of the kids or grandkids is allergic...

, I gave in and we bought a fake one. It will only be around until Michael is old enough to grasp the concept - then I am taking him out for a real one!
